The 4 C’s Brand Quiz

Building a brand is about knowing who you are and who you uniquely serve. But it’s also about doing work in a sustainable way. Are you able to do your work for another year? Another ten? Another twenty??

For each question, give yourself a score between 1 and 5, with five being yes or totally agree.

  4. Do you wish you felt more relaxed or confident?

  5. Do you have a hard time figuring out what business advice you should take?

  7. Do you feel like you’re capable of so much more?

  8. Do you ever feel like you’re chasing other people’s idea of success?

  9. Do you hate feeling salesy?

  10. Does your brand struggle to stand out from the noise?

Now it’s time to add up your score. Building a memorable brand has the power to make everything else you do easier and more effective. And the higher your score, the more you can benefit from investing in your brand strategy.

The goal is to do work you like, do it in a way that makes you proud, and to do it for years to come. So much of successful work comes down to not just what you do, but the order that you do it. Start with brand strategy before you move to organizational strategy and marketing strategy.
