Aim for peace this year (plus a free mindset worksheet!)

Here we stand, on the precipice of another year. There is so much pressure we put on ourselves. (No doubt aided by pervasive by cultural messaging.) It has to be the best year ever. Hit the ground sprinting. Do more and do it faster.

As a culture, we celebrate explosive growth. But who’s celebrating sustainable growth?

Not slow, necessarily. But sustainable. At a pace that’s not leaving you frantic, burned out, and with a notable lack of peace.

I want you to have expansive plans. And I hope you’re brave enough to pursue them. But drain yourself and there won’t be enough left to actually enjoy the good things when they come along.

So maybe start this year by working on your mindset. Find a few moments of quiet, pour yourself a cup of tea, and reflect.

My goal is not to give you one more thing that you have to put on your to-do list so we’re going to start small.

I put together a one page worksheet to help you reflect on the year behind and start the new year with intention and clarity. I once heard that we overestimate what we can do in one year and underestimate what we can do in ten.

Set your pace for a marathon and avoid the temptation to sprint. Aim to enjoy along the way and if you’re not, it might be time for a change.

I believe peace is a human right. Daily mental peace is not a luxury. And nothing you achieve will be meaningful without it.
